We are a shop located on Portobello Road in West London. We are a wellness / head shop that shares the space with a Tattoo & Piercing Shop. Both businesses are family owned and are independent. The space itself is overflowing with history and is one of the longest standing in the area. The shop has always had an affiliation with music and fun times, so we definitely make sure this legacy is carried on.We run weekly DJ sets that are completely free for people to attend. They happen on a Friday between 17:00 - 19:00 so is the perfect segway from work into the weekend. Our aim is to bring people back together through music. The idea of a “Rave” has become so commercialised and gone far away from where it started. We’re trying to bring that back. Having the shop as a venue takes away from the pressure of a club night while simultaneously creating an intimate environment. The DJ is in with the people - part of the vibe in the crowd. Without the constraints of a normal event, the DJ gets to showcase themselves and the music they really want to play. This could be songs they’re bringing out, blends they’ve figured out or even genres they don’t usually get booked for.
