The Chico and Oroville Optimist Clubs are a "Friend to Youth" and engender "Respect for Law" in the Chico and Oroville communities. We serve our community and local youth with, summer camp opportunities, youth appreciation events, essay and speech contests which provide scholarships, youth golf tournaments, a robotics program at the Boys and Girls Teen Center and two Junior Optimist Clubs which inspire youth towards personal growth and community service.
