The Oil City Main Street Program is a non-profit, volunteer-driven, nationally-accredited Main Street Program dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Oil City, PA. Our mission is to make our business district more attractive and vibrant. Our projects and initiatives include Oil City Downtown Murals, the Center Street Bridge Illumination Project, Best Dressed Windows, Music on the Square, BridgeFest, O.C.toberFest, Oil City’s Christmas Past & the Jingle Bell 5K, façade improvements, cleanup days, seasonal planting projects, educational workshops, business support, arts & cultural opportunities, and much more! The Oil City Main Street Program is nationally accredited by Main Street America and is a three-time Townie Award winner by the Pennsylvania Downtown Center.
