Off The Scale Outdoor Education

This experience day is all about enjoying the connection with nature as well as catching fish. They are ideal for beginners or those with limited experience. Your coach will start with a safety briefing followed by an overview of why people enjoy fishing. We will then look at equipment before showing you water craft and tactics to catch fish and how to look after them out of the water. We practice sustainable, catch and release fishing and raise awareness of how important our waterways are and why we should look after them. All coaches are enhanced DBS checked and the organiser will be first aid and safe guarding children trained. The cost of fishing at the venue, the bait, tackle and coaching are all included. We are based in Horwich, Bolton so this is where we will need our customers to get to. We recommend ages 5 and older. Certificates and prizes will also be awarded at the end of the lesson.
