Overall, it was a fun-filed evening. The only thing I would altar is the little snippet about "trump plowing the roads" and such and the small on-stage conversation that follows. That brief and fleeting moment completely polarized and negatively charged the audience. What started out as a whimsical and hilarious show, took a complete negative turn leaving me uneasy, insecure, and unsafe. When you have a large crowd screaming "Let's go Brandon" in the middle of a gay-themed show where many members of the LGBTQ+ community paid a good price to see and were sitting surrounded by "comp" tickets holders, it was not a fun ending to a fun start. Leaving the theater, we didn't talk about the fun we had. We didn't talk about the funny puns. We didn't talk about the hysterical accents. We fled and fled fast! We were afraid to hold my husband's hand, I was afraid to be myself after a show that praised "be yourself, it doesn't matter that he's gay, it's that he lied to me for 20 years".
