The weather was wonderful. The event seemed well organized. Enjoyed listening to Slack Country andvisiting with friends.

The music could have been turned up so that people could dance during the "intermission." A spot light for the performers would have been good, The venue is rather stark, and it was not well heated. Everyone did seem to have fun, so the event was an overall success.

Gay Pride in Norman seems to identify mostly as drag. I was disappointed in the staging (I know the group operates with no budge,, but someone should have been able to beg or borrow a couple of stage lights to dramatize the performers). The after party at Opolis was better. At teh event someone asked me "What is your type - who here would you take home for the night?" I looked around and had to answer, "well, anyone I would want to take home probably would not be at this event."
