Byron “Bemo” Myers II - Music DirectorBemo Myers has been directing New G for over 20 years. His father, Byron Myers, founded the group in 1970. Bemo is married to Carol Myers, his wife of 37 years this June. He has received awards from the Youth Alliance in St. Joseph, and two Ruby Awards from the Robidoux Theater. He is the CEO/President of Specialty Industries in St. Joseph, MO.Carol is the Director and Assistant Director for the Robidoux Theater. Together, they have two children, Mia and Joey, who were in the group as kids, and are active in the arts today. They continue to be bright lights and leaders for everyone in the St. Joseph community.
