NEAT Services, LLC, is owned and operated by Nate Hooper, LMFT providing equine assisted therapy in the upper panhandle of Idaho. Nate has worked with Shannon Hurd, his co-presenter for this workshop, for many years providing mental health services in rural and remote areas. The goal of NEAT Services is to focus more on adjunct services to support mental health providers by offering workshops and seminars for mental health professionals, as well as more intense opportunities for community members, like retreats for families and couples, and school visits. Nate and Shannon both have a strong desire to make services more accessible for those that have chosen to serve our nation's military. They know active members and veterans have many difficulty accessing various services, and want to offer an experience more suitable and enjoyable for military members and veterans. The hope is in the next few years, NEAT Services can be more regularly offering retreats and workshops in the Mountain West region.
