La Molinera, also known as Nalanie Molina, is a proud Chicago native whose journey in Spanish dance began in 2011 with Ensemble Español. For more than a decade, she has immersed herself in flamenco, classical, and folkloric forms, training with the company and master artists from Spain. In recent years, she has embraced the intimate, powerful world of the flamenco tablao, where improvisation, vulnerability, and emotional truth shape her voice.Rooted in tradition and on a journey to deepen her connection to flamenco with authenticity, La Molinera brings the art form to audiences across Chicago through performance, education, and cultural programming—sharing its power, history, and corazón with people of all backgrounds.
