At Run From Prostate Cancer we’ve served the African American and Latin American males in several underprivileged areas for over 5 years. We are a nonprofit organization that dedicates our time and services to the communities across the Chicagoland area. Our mission is to educate, raise awareness and to prevent Prostate Cancer in the black communities across America, as the mortality rate is almost 3 times higher than the Caucasian race. This summer season and during prostate cancer awareness month (September) we are aiming to raise $250,000 to fund the opening of the Run From Prostate Cancer Health center. During our annual events across the country this year, we’ll host community initiatives to engage with Communities that are at high risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
