MONICA J. STERN, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT- Monica J. Stern is the principal member of the firm. A 1985 graduate of Arizona State University, she received her CPA certification in 1986.The firm specializes in the unique needs of churches and other faith-based organizations. Most of the staff have previously worked for churches and/or other nonprofits, giving a unique perspective to assisting churches and nonprofit organizations. Monica has worked extensively on state regulations related to Student Tuition Organizations as well as other legislative issues affecting churches and other non-profit organizations. Her professional emphasis is assistance to non-profit organizations in the area of tax, audit and attest services, as well as operational policies and procedures. Monica is also a QuickBooks professional advisor and offers assistance with other accounting software. She is a frequent seminar speaker for organizations and professional associations and an active member and Champion with the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants and an Ambassador with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Monica serves her church as Finance Ministry Team chair and as a member of Church Council.
