Momentum Dance Collective is a nonprofit dance company founded in 2008 and made up of artists whose work is rooted in the collaborative approach. Momentum's vision is to create opportunities for dancers to produce original work and to nurture the creative spirit in both performers and audiences alike.They continue to collaborate with musicians, visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, and other visionaries, to create everything from short works to expansive full-length shows on sites and stages all over Anchorage.They are committed to working collaboratively to produce new, evolving, and excellent work in Anchorage and support the developing artistry of their dancers through performances, work in the schools, and outreach programs.
