MODCAF has been created to support an existing, growing community of musicians.The Modular Café Aldershot provides the opportunity for like minded synthesizer enthusiasts to meet socially, to exchange ideas, practices, to collaborate, encourage and support one another on a regular basis.Starting in 2018 and with the incredible support of the West End Centre in Aldershot, The Modular Cafe has gathered an audience from all over the south of England and beyond. It now offers regular performances, tech talks and improvised jams, while offering a platform for people to learn and take their first steps into performing live electronic music.Aside from regular meets in Aldershot the community also performs together outdoors, stages mini festivals and engages in grander projects with the support of the parent organization – MODCAF CIC. These projects include the Modular Cafe’s first birthday party, featuring performances from MATTHS, Finlay Shakespeare of Future Sound Systems and Hainbach over from Germany for his first ever UK show, all alongside Modular Café artists.
