EPA funds a TAB provider for each region. Mid-Atlantic TAB serves EPA Region 3, which includes:DelawareMarylandPennsylvaniaVirginiaWest VirginiaWashington, D.C.We offer expertise and guidance on a number of brownfield related topics, including health impacts, site assessment, remediation, redevelopment, and reuse.We aim to:Increase public understanding and awareness of brownfields redevelopment and related issues, including environmental impacts, health impacts, remediation methods, opportunities for economic development, and state and federal brownfield resources;Increase awareness of financing opportunities for brownfield remediation and redevelopment, including public funding such as EPA Brownfields grants;Increase community involvement in identification, remediation, and re-use of brownfields; andBuild local capacity to navigate the redevelopment process on brownfield projects, from site identification to successful redevelopment.
