The Metropolitan Winds was founded in 1993 by musicians with interests in performing classical transcriptions, contemporary wind band literature, and traditional military band selections. Metropolitan Winds is under the direction of Music Director and internationally acclaimed composer/arranger, Randol Alan Bass.
