Mercy Education Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Southwest Detroit providing educational programs for women and girls. MEP's afterschool programming for girls in grades 2-12 includes one-to-one tutoring in reading and math, STEAM and health and wellness activities, and a nutritious meal. MEP also offers a weekly College and Career Readiness program for high school girls and a technology club for middle school girls. Programming for adult women includes GED preparation, adult basic education, and workforce development.
