The Frayser Library serves a community 45,000 residents, representing one of the broadest service areas for any Memphis Public Library branch. Because Frayser has the largest number of licensed daycare facilities in the Memphis area, the library coordinates a substantial amount of childcare-centric programming. The Frayser branch also oversees a large collection of automotive literature and caters to mechanics in and around the area. Library directors are committed to attending to the needs of their community through assisting in job searches, hosting book clubs and music lessons, and more.
