I live and paint in Worcestershire, surrounded by woodlands and wildlife. I love the peace here, and being surrounded by nature I am constantly inspired. Most of the animals I paint I see daily in the countryside around my home. I think the peace and happiness I feel comes through in my paintings. And always by my side are my cocker spaniel and miniature dachshund - we are a team!I also love to paint portraits - always women - as I so inspired by feminine power.Flowers and vessels are another passion.The unifying element in all this is a love of nature and beauty, and the peace and pleasure it gives me. And in turn gives my clients who buy my work.I have always painted and made things. As a little girl I made all my doll's clothes and doll's furniture. My art degree was in design and applied arts. This meant I worked in clay, glass, wood, metal, textile and paint.
