Follow MaryLou DingmanWhen you meet MaryLou, two things will stand out: her memorable voice, and her passion for all things related to real estate. Mary Lou has been fortunate in her life to pursue not one, but two of her career passions: radio and real estate. MaryLou graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Broadcasting in 1985, and moved to Raleigh in 1986. She worked her way up in the local radio business: first as an ad salesperson, then as a traffic reporter ….and yes, she really DID fly in an airplane to report traffic conditions! Her patience and persistence paid off, and she became a rock radio DJ and fulfilled a lifelong childhood dream. In 2001, MaryLou ventured into the world of Real Estate as a New Home Sales Consultant for a national builder. Besides selling lots of homes, she naturally fell into leadership roles of mentoring new agents and “showing them the ropes” when they joined the Builder Sales Team. 5 Years ago, she joined Ashley Wilson Realty Group as a Buyer Specialist. Working for one of the most respected and successful real estate teams in North Carolina increased MaryLou’s desire to serve her clients as well as her peers; she has become a respected member of the Keller Williams Preferred Teaching team, and is a member of the Education Committee. MaryLou occasionally steps back into her radio world by emceeing events, and voicing radio spots. However, her main focus these days is helping her clients (many of them former radio colleagues) buy and sell real estate. She’s a member of the National Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors and the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors, and a Certified New Home Sales Professional. Her church of choice is NRCC-Downtown, where she assists in organizing Social Activities...imagine that! MaryLou also speaks German fluently and is proud of her German Heritage; she does love a good German Pilsner! Her favorite things are her family, friends, movies, concerts, food, traveling. And, she swears she has the cutest pets on the planet: 2 lop-eared house bunnies, Dipper and Little Debbie.
