The mission of Mack Alive, a 26 year-old 501c3 non-profit community resource organization, is to encourage and facilitate economic empowerment for families who reside on the eastside of Detroit by providing education, comprehensive life management and career development opportunities for heads of households who have been impacted by specific environmental and societal conditions.Founded in 1991, the Mack Alive Community Resource Center located at 3746 Fischer at Mack Avenue, has been a positive change agent for neighborhood growth and revitalization for eastside Detroiters for 26 years. Programs for youth, tutoring and entrepreneurial training, arts and culture, and community service are key components of our mission.
