The setup at Johnny Velvet is absolutely a home run for our listening room events! Jon Taylor has designed great lighting and sound to set the mood, and provide a pleasing live sound experience without all the noise of a typical live show. There’s great fun and skill in that too, but the listening room is where you can relax into the music and connect the artist’s stories to their lyrics. Jon brings 20+ years of experience in live sound and studio recording to the event. His passions all collide at Johnny Velvet into something truly special in the Lubbock Music scene.
