The Louisiana District Export Council (LDEC) is a private sector advisory board that helps Louisiana companies increase their sales through exports. LDEC's members are appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to support the mission of U. S. Commercial Service New Orleans. LDEC holds educational seminars, hosts networking events, and its members act as mentors for new exporters.
