The Local Learning Community Foundation’s (L2CF) mission is to stimulate the design and development or expansion of learning innovations and initiatives to increase outcomes in the following areas: Access to quality early childhood education; school readiness; reading proficiency in third and eighth grades; state and national standardized test taking skills and scores; high school graduation rates; job/career readiness; financial literacy; entrepreneurship; and wealth accumulation. . The ultimate goal of the L2CF is to identify and design effective and user-friendly learning initiatives that can be easily replicated to increase hope, self-efficacy, resiliency, and economic security in local families and neighborhoods across the country, especially in small and rural areas.
