The Little Giraffe Foundation was founded by Mike andAmandaSantoroin March 2011 after the loss of their preemie daughter, Cheyenne. Little Giraffe Foundation is dedicated to both funding neonatal research and supporting patients and families of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). To date donations have been made to hospitals across the country in the way of holiday gifts, including books, toys clothing, as well as small gifts for parents. When your child is fighting for his or her life in an incubator, a book or toy can remind you that there's hope for tomorrow and that someone is thinking of you.In addition, since its inception, Little Giraffe Foundation has funded over $176,000 in Neonatal Research and NICU Support Grants and has donated over 12,500 holiday gift bags to NICU families in Chicagoland and throughout the country.Little Giraffe Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to funding neonatal research and supporting families of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
