The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance brings a hospital emergency department directly to the scene of some of the most serious incidents in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. LNAA is at the forefront of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in the UK, attending on average 4 potentially life-saving missions every single day, 365 days of the year.In 2022, the helicopter and critical care cars responded to a record 1,620 incidents, from serious road traffic collisions to agricultural injuries and cardiac arrests. Our crew carries the most up to date life-saving equipment. This enables our dedicated doctor and critical care paramedic team to give advanced pain relief, carry out emergency medical procedures, such as open heart surgery, and give blood transfusions at the scene. These interventions can make the difference in saving a patient’s life.LNAA needs to raise £10m to operate 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. We receive no direct funding from the government and rely on the generosity and goodwill of supporters through donations and fundraising to support our work.Beachside, roadside or in the countryside, we're by your side when you need us most.
