Leslie Archibald is a Houston based writer and reader. Leslie Archibald, a graduate of the University of Houston, writes poetry, flash fiction, and nonfiction in a tiny home office in Houston, Texas. When she is not writing, you may find her roaming the city photographing Houston’s unique character, dabbling in watercolors, and exploring genre bending and multimedia literature. She volunteers with Houston's writing community and as a slush reader for with Interstellar Flight Press and local anthology submission calls. She is the winner of the 2017 Spider Road Press Spider’s Web Flash Fiction Competition for her piece "Sherry Baby."Leslie has always been interested in photography and has taken courses at Houston Center for Photography. Late in 2023, she began experimenting with watercolor painting and played with merging the two. After several tries and ruined photographs, she found the right printer, the right paper and the patience to create her merged series which led to the creation of LA Literary and Visual Arts and a visual arts page where prints of her work can now be viewed and purchased.
