Too well attended. Lines at wine tents were 25+ deep. Won’t wait an hour in line for a taste of wine. Maybe hand out samples in small containers? How about charging a buck per sample? That’d limit the non-serious wine taster who’s just looking for a a buzz. I’d be happy to pay it. May not attend again. Waited for one wine tasting and that was enough.

Objectives 1.Identify and prioritize current downtown issues relating to committee goals and develop solutions to those issues. 2.Serve as an ongoing advisory group to the Borough of Lehighton regarding its downtown revitalization efforts. 3.Educate downtown property owners about related issues and activities. 4.Educate downtown property owners about available public programs intended to encourage the improvement of downtown properties. 5.Identify potential marketing opportunities for the downtown. 6.Identify partnerships and opportunities to facilitate events that promote the downtown. 7.Identify and support potential multi-use development opportunities.
