Leadership Baltimore County, founded in 1983, builds the leadership effectiveness of participants, educates them about the challenges and opportunities facing Baltimore County and the region, and facilitates increased civic engagement to improve the quality of life for all. Beginning with a 10-month program, LBC provides a unique opportunity to bring together participants from prominent large and small businesses, education, nonprofits, government, and community agencies to learn and understand each other’s different perspective on any given topic. Speakers include noted subject matter experts and county and state officials. Networking opportunities abound, including a membership of 1100+ business and community leaders.
