The College of Architecture and Design (CoAD) at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) is dedicated to a pedagogy of “theory and practice”. We advocate not one or the other, but both, integrated and coherent.The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Gregor S. and Elizabeth B. Affleck House was donated to LTU in 1978 by the Afflecks' children. Today, LTU and CoAD use the home as an educational resource, to inspire new generations of architects, and offer seasonal monthly tours.
