Leo & Luna is a blend of my three favourite interests: writing, history and painting. Many years ago I started off with star sign constellation prints, but it began to occur to me how many constellations were right above our heads – and just how many fascinating stories accompanied them.Being a history lover, I started researching a few I hadn’t heard of before and very quickly the urge to connect others with these stories grew. In a past life I was lucky enough to write for a living, so harnessing those skills again to create history notes for each painting became a welcome new part of the job. Soon, I had a whole collection that has continued to expand into prints, greeting cards and bookmarks.Alongside the artwork side of things, I publish regular articles about astronomy, ancient civilisations and even the odd gift guide in The Journal.
