The Rotary Club of Lafayette is a fellowship of men and women dedicated to high ethical standards, service to others, and the advancement of community and international goodwill. Membership is open to all persons! Since 1916 The Rotary Club of Lafayette has been fostering the ideal of “Service Above Self” by: 1. Developing acquaintance as an opportunity for service. 2. Insisting on high ethical standards in our personal, business, and professional lives. 3. Recognizing the worthiness of occupations as an opportunity for service. 4. Applying the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life. 5. Advancing international understanding, goodwill, and peace. For the past century, we have been serving the community and the world in numerous ways, and we have included among our membership individuals whose names are easily recognized in our community.
