The Labour Hire Authority (LHA) has been established to regulate Victoria’s labour hire industry. The LHA delivers a labour hire licensing scheme, making sure labour hire providers are licensed and that labour hire hosts and workers only engage with licensed providers. The LHA supports this work with a strong program of enforcement, compliance and education activities that are designed to protect labour hire workers from being exploited and improve the transparency and integrity of the labour hire industry.
