Follow Kennett Area Park AuthorityThe Kennett Area Park Authority,(KAPA), is a Pennsylvania Municipal Authority that was formed with the sole purpose to own and operate Anson B. Nixon Park. As an independent municipal authority, KAPA is not affiliated with the Chester County or Pennsylvania State Park system and does not receive any per capita tax based funding from the county, state, or local municipalities. Anson B. Nixon Park is comprised of 110 acres that extend from the Borough of Kennett Square into Kennett Township. The Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
