Keith Holt, CCHW, is an award-winning community mobilizer with over 20 years of community and leadership experience. As the Director of Community Engagement for the Baltimore City Council, he is highly regarded for his skills in building networks with diverse organizations and providing invaluable support to businesses and residents in the community. His unique approach to engaging with vulnerable communities has garnered attention, with features in prominent media outlets such as CNN, Washington Post, Governing Magazine, Baltimore Sun, and others. Notably, Keith's creative endeavors include being the focus of the award-winning short film entitled "Into the Light," which showcases his consulting work for national organizations while residing in a challenged urban environment. The film has been featured at esteemed national and international film festivals. With previous experience as the Youth and Sexual Minorities Outreach Coordinator for the Baltimore City Health Department, Keith has developed strong relationships with community groups and spearheaded several life-saving initiatives, such as the Baltimore Free Ball, White Party, and the award-winning Ball magazine. He also serves as the Chair for the Maryland Democratic Party’s LGBTQ+ Diversity Leadership Council, Chair of the LGBTQ+ Voter Engagement for Baltimore City Democrats, and President of the Maryland LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce.
