Kaeru Tea is a small, passion-driven business dedicated to connecting people together through the craft and delicate flavors of Japanese tea.To deepen her understanding of Japanese tea, founder Michelle Chen spent several months living and volunteering on local organic tea farms in Japan. Working alongside farmers, she helped to harvest and process tea, gaining firsthand experience with the craft behind Japanese tea.Michelle has also completed advanced certifications with the Global Japanese Tea Association (Kyoto, Japan), and the Tea Talk Academy (Taiwan). She is also a practitioner ofsado, Japanese tea ceremony (table-style).‘Kaeru’ (かえる・帰る) means returning home in Japanese.
