Just Kidding Comedy Collective (JKCC) envisions a world with justice and silliness for all! Rooted in community and driven by a shared commitment to equity, justice, and punchlines that land with purpose, we create space for voices often pushed to the margins of mainstream comedy with a focus on gender diversity. Through classes, shows, and events, we are smart, sharp, and unapologetically funny — and yes, we’re just kidding (but also, you know, not really).JKCC is the brainchild of Dana Fleitman and Reem Seliem, two DC-area comedians/producers by night and professional do-gooders by day. We are passionate about creating, elevating, and celebrating the joyful, diverse, and progressive spirit of the DC area and use humor as a tool for truth-telling, joy-making, and resistance.Our goal is to create spaces for community and laughter that both delight actual locals and make the MAGA crowd so deeply uncomfortable that they leave.
