Ms. Joyclyn Wilson is a seasoned educator, curriculum developer, and music director with a passion for nurturing the next generation of creative thinkers and spiritual leaders. A proud Memphian, she has served as Minister of Music and Youth Leader at Faith United Methodist Church since 2008 and taught for almost 20 years Choral and General Music at Memphis Business Academy Middle and High Schools, where she also serves as an Elective Academic Coach supporting cross-curricular arts integration and student development.Joyclyn holds a Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Tennessee, and a Master’s in Arts and Education from Union University. She is also a national speaker and thought leader in arts education, having led professional development workshops at the New York State Summer Music Educators (NYSSME) Virtual Conference in August 2021 and the NAfME Eastern Division Conference in February 2021.Her educational philosophy blends music, media, and ministry to inspire young minds to dream boldly and live purposefully. As founder of Blooming House Media, she extends her teaching into curriculum development, including Krissy’s Fruit—a faith-based activity book and training program designed for homeschool families and church ministries. Whether in the classroom, the choir stand, or community programs, Ms. Wilson is deeply committed to cultivating creativity, character, and Christ-centered leadership in every student she serves.
