I am an experienced grant funding and bid writing specialist based in Leeds, supporting charities, community organisations, social enterprises and training providers across Yorkshire and England. I founded Josie Armitage Associates in 2017 to help not-for-profit leaders access the funding they need to fulfil their missions - from researching opportunities and developing fundraising plans to writing high-quality applications and tenders. With over 20 years’ background in skills, training and funding programme management, I bring deep insight into what funders are looking for and have successfully secured support from major funders, including The National Lottery Community Fund, Power to Change and the Youth Endowment Foundation. I value long-term partnerships with my clients and am known for my thoughtful, tailored approach that boosts organisations’ chances of success. In my spare time, I contribute to local journalism and enjoy concerts, theatre, reading and keeping active.
