John Gray, former bassist for Ray Charles, is currently the Bassist/Band Leader and Manager of: The Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra, The Motown Tribute Orchestra, The Amy Winehouse Tribute Orchestra, The Diva Dynamics, The Frank Sinatra Tribute Band, The Blossom Dearie Tribute Band, The John Gray Ensemble, and The Thomas Alexander Soul Review, all based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. John Gray primarily works with award winning vocalists and has over fifty years of experience in the music business. John Gray has performed with many of the world's greatest musicians including Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, K.D. Lang, Dexter Gordon, Chet Baker, Petula Clark, The Platters, The InkSpots, The Marvellettes, Billy Davis and Marilyn McCoo of the Fifth Dimensions, Bobby Curtola, Shirley Jones of the Partridge Family, Amos Garrett, Nat Adderly, Lenny Breau, Eddy "Lockjaw" Davis, Herb Ellis, Tiny Tim, P.J.
