I considered attending as an author, but I was too busy writing my next book. So I didn't attend.

I'm the owner of the Indie Author Book Expo (IABE for short). We're a nonprofit group uniting readers, writer's, and authors to build better books and promote literacy. Our nonprofit just received an award for Des Moines, IA's best nonprofit of 2019.
