Jeff has been an amateur telescope maker for over half a century. His instruments have drawn top honors in regional and national astronomy meetings, including the Stellafane Telescope Makers convention in 2011. He has also taught astronomy at the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University and at Xavier University. He has also been a presenter at the Cincinnati Observatory. This year he has chosen to share his experience and knowledge of telescope making and astronomy with those who want to learn a little about this craft and science of making telescopes.
