James Hastie

Since organizing his first summer camp in 1991, James Hastie has been putting together galas, golf tournaments, Olympic Show Jumping clinics, Sporting Clays Shoots, Camps, cocktail parties, etc. On September 3, 2024, after raising enough money to send 200 youth to a Cub Scout camp, he joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse to focus on raising even more money to fund exciting opportunities for youth trying to grow up in Syracuse neighborhoods with the lowest household incomes and highest rates of juvenile arrest. Hoops for Hope is one of those special and unique events that truly does give Syracuse youth hope for a better life!
