Follow Jacobsburg Historical SocietyJacobsburg Historical Society was founded in 1972 by members of various community groups working together for a common cause: to preserve the beauty of the Bushkill Creek Valley, particularly the Henry's Woods area. They also pledged to bring to life the rich history and culture of the lost industrial community areas of Jacobsburg, Filetown, and Boulton, PA. Known as the Boulton Historic Site, our preserved grounds are home to the J. Joseph Henry House Museum, the Pennsylvania Long Rifle Museum, and other historic buildings that help to tell the story of the Henry Family legacy to future generations.
