Activities we do:IT TAKES A VILLAGE, Key Biscayne, Florida•Social Saturdays: weekly meeting where teens and young adults with special needs come together with neurotypical teens to socialize and join in a prepared activity.•Parent Socials: monthly intimate meetings where parents come together to share. We also have an annual parent dinner to celebrate community.•Super Hero hour: during all Key Biscayne events volunteers are pair up with those with disability in our community to be able to get into rides, socialize or anything else these special needs community members may need during the event. We also provide special events and private time for our Super Heros with Santa, the Three Kings, and the Easter Bunny.•ITAV advocatesfor inclusive activities within our community center so these individuals can also have meaningful time learning a skill or participating in such activity. Now at the community center you can find by weekly "camp-like" activities during Sensory Saturday (ages 0-5), Beacon of Hope (agest 6-12), and Job Training (ages 16+).•Annual Inclusive Fun Family Day: an event fill with entertainment, rides, a service provider area, food, and over 150 volunteers who we pair with the special needs kids, teens and adults who attend.•. ITAV offers constanttalks and workshopsthrough out the year bringing specialist in the field of special needs. For example: guardianship, financial planning, IEP's, Waiver program, Navigating the school system, school support etc.• With the support of our Village Mayor and council, we have been able tocreate impactin the life of many individuals with special needs in our community as well as in the lives of all our volunteers and families.
