IPYG is a youth organization affiliated with HWPL, established based on the Declaration of World Peace, proclaimed on May 25, 2013. The declaration calls on youth to take an active role in ending wars and creating a peaceful world.Today, IPYG works with over 1,000 youth organizations in 119 countries, promoting youth-led peace initiatives.When conflicts arise, young people lose their lives and futures. Youth are the first victims of war. So Youth must take action to protect themselves. Choosing peace over violence is the way to safeguard their rights and lives.Creating a culture of peace is our responsibility. By promoting peace and passing it on to future generations, youth can help build a sustainable, peaceful world.
