Founded in 2,000 the IMO is an NGO dedicated to serving as an OMBUDSMAN for the Global Mango Community. (2000, 2005) and Final publication 2007.Three Global mango Conferences were held in 2000 (La Quinta, California) 2003 (Malaga, Spain) and a joint cooperation in 2004 with Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden (Miami, Florida)
