Integration Alexander Academy (IAA) is dedicated to exploring the art of piano performance through freedom of movement, mindful use of the body, and neuroscience-based learning. Founded in Japan by pianist Yoshimi Ito and holistic coach Shigeru Yamauchi, the academy connects pianists across borders, nurturing both artistry and well-being.Our concerts showcase the individuality and expressive voices of each performer, celebrating the idea that “everyone is different, and everyone is wonderful.” In this Toronto concert, pianists from Japan join local colleagues to share a musical journey that bridges cultures and resonates with the heart.
