The Institute for National Strategic Studies (INSS) conducts cutting-edge research, analyses, and wargaming on disruptive technology and future warfare, strategy and military power, Chinese military affairs, and weapons of mass destruction and strategic deterrence to support joint warfighters and other stakeholders. INSS faculty teach at NDU colleges, integrate their research into the NDU curriculum, and lead NDU educational programs. INSS also includes the NDU Press, which publishes Joint Force Quarterly, the Chairman’s journal on joint and integrated operations.
