Since 1996, International Harvester enthusiasts have gathered together in April to rekindle some old friendships. Some come just to catch up and swap lies with old friends. Some come just because of their love of these old relics. Year after year we gather from across the country to spend three day’s of fun, great camping, and commemorate some of the finest trucks ever made. International Harvester Western Regionals (IHWR) is held north of Barstow California at the Barstow KOA Campground. I would make your reservations early as they fill up fast. If you prefer there is plenty of camping on nearby BLM land. This is an International Harvester event, however it is open to all vehicles. The only requirement is that you enjoy 4 wheeling, great scenery, good food and having fun. The weekend starts with the participants choice of runs into the back country of the Calico CA Mountains. Those that choose a more relaxing day stay and ready their IH relics for the Show-N-Shine. We finish off the day with a great Catered BBQ dinner. After dinner we have our raffle where you have a chance to win some great prizes. Don’t forget the kids as there will be activities for them also including a kids raffle.
