But understanding the realities of climate change seems ever more difficult in a media landscape rife with misinformation and fake news and at a time of intense polycrisis—war, migration due to dispossession, racism, unprecedented economic inequality, the decline of democratic discourse, the uncertainty of AI, troubling shifts in the global political landscape, and more.
